FINA World Junior Diving Championships 2010 - Day 1

1 to 6 September 2010 - Tucson

The first day saw four British athletes in the mix as the competition began with the 1m and 3m Springboard events.

Alicia Blagg and Hannah Starling were the first British athletes that took to the boards and both began the 1m Springboard prelims well. Blagg enjoyed consistency in her dives and qualified for the final in ninth place. Starling was looking close to joining her in the final but dropped her penultimate dive and finished in 14th place to miss the final by just five points.

New Venue for UK Coaching Awards 2009

Tuesday, 8 December 2009 - Old Billingsgate, London

Each year the Awards, hosted by sports coach UK, honours coaches who have achieved outstanding success over the past 12 months, as well as recognising the hard work and achievements of those involved in developing coaches. The event is seen as one of the most prestigious within the industry and is attended by some of the most important and influential people in sport and coaching.
