Head Coach - Alton and District Swimming Club
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Alton and District SC are looking for an enthusiastic Head Coach with previous experience of teaching in a competitive club and ideally qualified as a level 3 coach or level 2 looking for further development. The candidate will be required to run their existing swim club of 350 swimmers ranging from newly enthusiastic to national level. You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver a programme of swimming to ensure that all swimmers reach their full potential.
The Swim 21 accredited Club will require someone who can teach for at least 15 hours a week split between 3 local pools. In addition you will need to attend club galas, county galas and open meets. The Club has an enthusiastic, supportive teaching team, willing poolside helpers and an enthusiastic committee.
If you have the ability to motivate and encourage each individual swimmer, to communicate with their parents and to take this club to a higher level they would like to hear from you.

Vacancy: Head Coach, Bridport Barracudas SC
Bridport Barracudas SC is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic voluntary Head Coach to lead its dedicated team of coaches and teachers. With around 200 swimmers ranging from beginners to County standard, the Club plans to offer the maximum possible opportunity to all members and is also currently working towards Swim21 accreditation.
Applicants should have a minimum coaching qualification of a UKCC Level 2 and preferably be aiming towards UKCC Level 3. Support will be provided to the successful applicant to progress to UKCC Level 3 Senior Coach. All candidates should have strong leadership and communication skills and be ready for the challenge of developing the club further from solid foundations already in place. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of L.T.A.D.

Communication Manager

Workforce Manager
To work with appropriate professional officers, to ensure England attains its targets within the Whole Sport Plan pertaining to the development of volunteers.
Region, County and Club Liaison Officer
To maintain liaison with Regions, Counties and clubs and ensure the wider strategy of English Swimming is known throughout the sport and to act as a liaison between the Technical Swimming Committee and competition promoters.

Background and job purpose:
The London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games has been established as the organisation that will plan and stage the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
There are currently 26 sports on the Olympic programme and 20 sports on the Paralympic programme with athletes from 205 National Olympic and 165 National Paralympic Committees competing in the events. Over 1500 athletes are expected to participate in the Olympic Aquatics programme, across 4 disciplines, Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo, with a further 600 athletes in the Paralympic programme in London 2012 in the discipline of Swimming.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Development Synchronised Swimming Coach within the Sport and Health Development team, funded for a three year fixed term period. Bristol City Council, in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association, is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-motivated coach to work with the swimmers, coaches and partners to develop the synchronised swimming pathway and achievement in the city. The Development Coach will need to be committed to the development of synchronised swimming in Bristol, assist the South West Region and demonstrate a willingness and capacity to develop relationships with the Regional Synchronised Swimming Clubs and Committee.
Candidates for this position should be committed team players, enthusiastic, self motivated, flexible and be able to work unsupervised.

Vacancy: Barnstaple Swimming Club Head Coach

Barnstaple Swimming Club is a friendly, highly motivated and ambitious Club with 300 plus members and is swim 21 Accredited for teaching and Skill Development. The Club holds Club Championship galas, participates in friendly galas and competes in Open Meets, County and Regional Competitions also in Division 1 of the National Arena Swimming League (Western).

Are you a retired international aquatics athlete with a keen interest in the progress of British aquatics athletes and British Swimming?
As part of its athlete engagement strategy British Swimming is to re-establish the Swimming Competitors Association. The association will advise and provide opinions on the various projects run by British Swimming affecting the athletes. The association will be led by an executive committee group and we are currently welcoming applications for the positions of Chair and Vice-chair.
The Chair and Vice-chair will be former international athletes, ideally with Olympic or Paralympic experience who have retired from competition within the past 8 years. As Chair, you will be responsible for leading the committee, chairing meetings and representing the Swimming Competitors Association at meetings of the Board of Directors. The Vice-chair will support the Chair in their responsibilities and work towards ensuring the ‘view from the poolside’ is at the heart of British Swimming.

Devizes Amateur Swimming Club require a coach or swimming instructor with either level 2 or 1 to develop and motivate the squad and pre squad.
The two evenings we require a coach are sundays and tuesdays between the hours of 7pm to 9pm. Devizes is a friendly and well attended club who needs someone who can help take the club forward,we have pool side helpers who are willing to carry on and help, this is a ideal opportunity for someone keen to develop their coaching skills.
There will of course be a CRB check and the person must be over the age of 18.
