FINA World Junior Diving Championships 2010 - Day 2/3
1 to 6 September 2010 - Tucson
Young British diver Jack Laugher is celebrating after being crowned World Junior 1m Springboard Diving Champion at the age of just 15.
The Harrogate diver is part of the British Diving Team, powered by British Gas, at the 18th FINA World Junior Diving Championships in Tucson, USA and becomes Britain’s first world junior champion since 1999.
Laugher showed sensational form in the Group B Boys 1m Final (14-15 years old) to take the victory with an impressive score of 440 points from Bryce Kline of the USA with 416.85 and Sheng Li of China on 386.60.
FINA World Junior Diving Championships 2010 - Day 1
1 to 6 September 2010 - Tucson
The first day saw four British athletes in the mix as the competition began with the 1m and 3m Springboard events.
Alicia Blagg and Hannah Starling were the first British athletes that took to the boards and both began the 1m Springboard prelims well. Blagg enjoyed consistency in her dives and qualified for the final in ninth place. Starling was looking close to joining her in the final but dropped her penultimate dive and finished in 14th place to miss the final by just five points.
Youth Olympics 2010 Diving Round Up
21 - 24 Aug 2010 - Toa Payoh Swimming Complex, Singapore
Tom Daley came 9th in the Youth Men's 3m springboard final (299.40 Finals to total 514.35). The event was won by China's Bo Qiu (381.35 Finals to total 607.15). Silver went to Ukraine's Oleksandr Bondar (565.35) and bronze to American Michael Hixon (341.40 Finals for 554.65).

LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Day 7
Alicia Blagg and Rebecca Gallantree gave a strong performance in the Women’s 3m Synchro Final to finish fifth with a score of 280.08.
The pair scored nearly 30 points more with the final list of dives than the morning preliminaries where they qualified 8th for the final.
Daley withdraws from competition
World Champion Tom Daley has been forced to withdraw from competition at the European Championships in Budapest due to a tricep injury.
The 16-year-old had competed this morning in the 10m Synchro with his partner Max Brick and finished fourth with a score of 386.58 but the decision was made to withdraw him from the final and the competition to prevent any long term damage to his tricep.
LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Day 6
Grace Reid impressed with a fourth place finish at her first European Championships in Budapest in the 3m Individual.
On the day that saw Tom Daley withdraw from competition, Reid held the country's hopes and she didnt disappoint as she held her nerve throughout the rounds.
Reid moved up from seventh place to fifth in the penultimate round and as she began her Reverse 2 1/2 Somersaults tucked she knew she had a chance to move higher up the rankings.
She scored a total of 276.20 to finish in fourth place.
The event was won by Nadezda Bazhina (Rus) with 324.10 points.

LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Day 5
Megan Sylvester and Monique Gladding stormed to their first European medal in the Women’s 10m Synchro at the European Championships in Budapest.

LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Day 4
Nick Robinson-Baker (Sheffield) and Chris Mears (Southampton) made their international debut in Budapest and gave a solid account with a fifth place finish in the Men’s 3m Synchro final.
The pair put together an impressive dive list to score 398.37 despite the fact they have only trained together as a new pairing for the past six weeks.

Gold went to Kvasha / Prygorov of Ukraine in 431.67, Germany's Feck / Hausding took the silver in 427.95 and Sautin / Kunakov of Russia the bronze in 410.43.
LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Day 3
British diver Nick Robinson-Baker warmed up for his main 3m events with a place in the 1m Springboard final. The City of Sheffield diver placed 12th overall with a score of 315.80.

LEN European Diving Championships 2010 - Days 1/2
Rebecca Gallantree (City of Leeds) and Tom Daley (Plymouth Diving) finished 4th in the Team Event on the opening day, 34.5 points behind Germain duo Christin Steuer and Sascha Klein. Daley's 3m 405B dive had earlier pulled the Brits into second place.
Gallantree (City of Leeds) went on to contest the Women’s 1m Springboard event in Budapest on Day 2, finishing 10th with a score 241.15.
