The ASA Talent Development Water Polo Programme 2010/11

There will be a trial for 95/96, 97/98 and 98/99 age group entry to the Regional Training Centre on Friday 1 October 2010 at Pyramids Pool, Exeter

Please be there at 7pm for registration. The trial starts 7.30 and runs until 9pm. Anyone in the respective age groups is welcome to come to the trial. If unsuccessful on 1 October, names will be kept and players notified should any spaces become available.

Cost of the trial is £5 and if successful, this will be deducted from the term fees of £55. Cheques should be made payable to ASA.

Please can clubs and coaches download and unzip the file for the term timetable and advert. Please display them at your pool or forward to anyone in your club you think may be interested. Job Roles and Descriptions for the ASA South West Diving Management Group

At the last ASA SW region Diving Committee meeting, it was agreed to look at the structure of the existing working group and as a result it was decided that the new positions / structure within the group be advertised across the Region for open recruiment.

Open recruitment means that all applicants are welcome, but ideally you should represent a club that is active at Regional Competitons, this ranges from Level One - Flip and Fun events to any National Level of Diving Competition.

The closing date for applications is Friday 30 May 2008 at 7.00pm.

All applications will be considered by group appointed from a member of the current committee, SW Regional Diving Manager. a member from the Regional Board and the Diving Development Manager for the South.

Regional Diving Changes

There have been changes within our Regional diving structure and we are pleased to welcome Paula Drew from West Wilts Diving Club as Diving Committee Chairman. The diving committee want to ensure that all diving clubs within the region play an active part in developing the sport and are involved in the decision making for key elements. A meeting was recently held to which all clubs were invited and this is something that will be repeated in the future.
