The ASA Talent Development Water Polo Programme 2010/11

There will be a trial for 95/96, 97/98 and 98/99 age group entry to the Regional Training Centre on Friday 1 October 2010 at Pyramids Pool, Exeter

Please be there at 7pm for registration. The trial starts 7.30 and runs until 9pm. Anyone in the respective age groups is welcome to come to the trial. If unsuccessful on 1 October, names will be kept and players notified should any spaces become available.

Cost of the trial is £5 and if successful, this will be deducted from the term fees of £55. Cheques should be made payable to ASA.

Please can clubs and coaches download and unzip the file for the term timetable and advert. Please display them at your pool or forward to anyone in your club you think may be interested. Club Access to Intensive Training Centre Water Time Policy

Requests have been made by club coaches for their squads or individual swimmers to access long-course water time in the Intensive Training Centres.

England Talent Development for Swimming and Open Water

An outline to the England Talent Development programme for swimming, (including open water). It details how the ASA framework will work towards a seamless pathway for talented English swimmers and support staff to help fulfil their potential.

In the initial stages the English Talent Development Programme will be focussing on three areas: a) National and Regional Talent programmes, b) Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) and c) Strengthening Club Networks.
