Formed in 1985 and based at Bridport Leisure Centre, the Club offers Learn to Swim using the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, water polo and promotes the Blackbuoy Cup open water swim. It started the Jurassic League to engender more and regular competition for swimmers, and in conjunction with Heron Swim Team and Durrington Otters enters the Southern Junior League and the National Arena Swimming League as 'Team Jurassic'.
