The region has produced a four year strategy, which will be published on approval) and a one year operational plan.

The work of the region is driven through the professional officers supported by a team of part time officers in county sports partnerships and the volunteers of the region.

ASA Everyday Swim website

The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has launched a brand new Everyday Swim website that celebrates its pioneering programmes and provides useful information for anyone interested in swimming.

Aimed at facility operators, local government and swimming professionals as well as members of the public that want to know more about taking up swimming or find out about different types of activities available, www.everydayswim.org provides a great swimming resource.

Kellogg’s Swim Active is a UK-wide programme to provide young people and their families with easier access to swimming facilities.
