Sport England recognises volunteering excellence

Sport England is launching a new publication highlighting the vital role of volunteers in community sport. The publication, "Sports volunteers are at the heart of our community", uses examples from across England of people who have made an outstanding impact to help more people get active.

BSCTA 2nd Annual Regional Conference

This conference incorporates the 1st Regional Swimming Teacher’s Seminar and will be held at Filton College, Bristol on Saturday 7th January 2006.

Bboth events are CPD accredited by the ASA.

Swim 21

Your Club Development Programme

Swim 21 Panel Dates

Swim 21 Regional Panel dates for 2006 are as follows:

  • 23 January 06
  • 17 April 06
  • 17 July 06
  • 16 October 06

Swim 21 accreditation applications should be submitted to the RDO at least two weeks prior to the Regional Panel meetings.

The National Panel dates are as follows:

  • 15 February 06
  • 17 May 06
  • 16 August 06
  • 15 November 06

Recruitment to South West Swim 21 Panel

The South West Region is now recruiting for new members of the South West Swim 21 Panel – a Chair and 6 panel members.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers with experience of Swim 21 to sit on the Panel. The Swim 21 Panel meets on a quarterly basis (Jan/ April/ July/ Oct). The main objectives of the Panel are to assess club Swim 21 accreditation applications and to promote and drive forward the development of Swim 21 across the region.
